Romanian NGOs protest against the document containing the Draft development priorities for 2014-2020

The Institute for Public Policy (IPP), Alaturi de Voi Foundation (ADV) from Iasi, Assistance Center for NGO (CENTRAS), Alpha Transilvana Foundation from Targu Mures and the National Organization for People with Disabilities in Romania (ONPHR) have recently criticized - through an open letter addressed to the Minister of European Founds, Mr. Eugen Teodorovici – the content of a newly launched programmatic document called Identifiyng the development needs for 2014 - 2020. The above mentioned organizations demanded that this document will be withdrawn as it only describes the current status of policies that are taken into consideration for the next Financial Exercise of the EU, with no  coherent visionary elements about the future priorities to address the current challenges shown by the current financial exercise.

The adoption of such superficial document will have dramatic consequences upon the orientation/impact of the future investments projects derived from the next 2014 - 2020 financial exercise. The full letter is attached along with its English translation.
